Most common in tropics.
Less aggressive, live in smaller group.
Adapt at climbing, live above ground nests.
Diet- eats 30g/day-grains, seeds, nuts + insects & moisture rich fresh fruits.
Matures in 10 weeks.
6 litters/year with 6-10 young/litter.
Life span < 1 year.
